Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV stands out as a full-size luxury SUV built around space, presence, and high-end features. It offers a massive cabin, a long-wheelbase body, and the kind of upscale interior treatment that has long defined the Escalade ESV name. In this generation, the ESV’s extra length translates into more cargo room than the standard Escalade, and the model also benefits from independent rear suspension, which improves ride and handling while helping cargo capacity.

For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want maximum interior space, premium materials, and a commanding road presence. The 55-inch infotainment screen adds to the cabin’s dramatic, tech-forward feel, especially if you value a standout interior presentation. 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV reliable?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV is a large luxury SUV with a clear focus on space, comfort, and upscale features. It also benefits from independent rear suspension, which helps ride and handling while supporting its cargo-carrying ability.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a vehicle this large and expensive can be costly to keep in top condition, especially if you plan to own it for many years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing’s condition matches the photos and description. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior electronics, suspension feel, and any signs of wear that can be amplified in a large luxury SUV. Because this model is defined by size and premium features, focus on how well those systems and surfaces have been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 756 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $103,343, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV's resale value?

The current average of $103,343 sits slightly below last year's $116,225.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained. If you keep the SUV clean, documented, and well cared for, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac Escalade ESV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.08% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the refreshed cabin, the big-screen tech presentation, and a strong mix of inventory and deal availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may make sense if you can give up some of the newest updates in exchange for a lower entry price.
