Used 2025 Cadillac CT5 for Sale near Texas

How much does the 2025 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 8.06% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 891 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is a qualified yes if you want a premium midsize sedan that leans hard into technology and value. It earns 3/5 from users and 7.3/10 from experts.

The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The CT5’s appeal comes through clearly in its updated tech, its bargain positioning in the luxury midsize segment, and its enjoyable driving character. At the same time, it is starting to feel older than some rivals, and it does not match them for polish or refinement.

Cons: It lacks overall polish and refinement, and you also have to live with tight rear-seat headroom and limited cargo space.

For you, that means the CT5 makes the most sense if you value strong tech content and driving enjoyment more than maximum cabin space or the most polished interior in the class. The market also shows 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which supports a selective-shopping approach.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is presented as a solid, well-equipped luxury sedan with strong safety and technology content, which helps support confidence in ownership. Its expert evaluation also emphasizes that it is a good car with impressive in-car tech and great safety ratings.

The performance notes point to a car that is easy to drive, with the turbo-four providing adequate everyday use and the available twin-turbo V6 delivering stronger pace. The safety and tech package adds to the sense that the CT5 is engineered to be straightforward to live with.

Cadillac also includes a first scheduled maintenance visit that is on the house, which is a useful ownership perk if you are comparing long-term costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the CT5’s age and refinement gaps may show up more clearly as mileage climbs, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not replace a proper VIN-based review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on cabin wear, electronics, and any signs that the car has been heavily optioned or modified. Since the CT5’s appeal depends so much on technology and condition, make sure the display, controls, and driver-assistance systems all work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The refreshed lineup no longer offers a Luxury trim level, and the base setup is less compelling than the better-equipped versions. The CT5 is offered in Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing variants, so you should pay close attention to how much equipment the specific car has.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the available twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 brings much stronger performance. The base engine is not especially powerful, so you may prefer the V6 if you want more effortless acceleration.
• Safety package: Every CT5 includes a comprehensive set of driver-assistance systems, including a surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking assist, automatic collision-avoidance braking for intersections, active blind-spot monitoring that can steer to discourage unsafe lane changes, and Super Cruise with an active subscription. The safety-tech content is especially strong for the class.
• Infotainment: The 2025 CT5 uses a new 33-inch panoramic display with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Google Maps navigation, Google Assistant, Google Play access, Amazon Alexa compatibility, SiriusXM 360L, and a 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. It is one of the car’s biggest selling points.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four returns 25-26 mpg combined, while the twin-turbo six returns 21-22 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 4 trim levels: Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing.

Here's the short version:

• Premium Luxury: This is the trim that best captures the CT5’s value story if you want the strongest mix of comfort, tech, and everyday usability. It is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it gives you the core CT5 experience without pushing you into the highest-priced performance models.
• Sport: Choose this if you want a more aggressive look and a slightly different personality, but still want the CT5’s tech-forward cabin and everyday drivability. It suits you if style matters as much as equipment.
• CT5-V: This is the step for you if you want a more serious performance flavor and are willing to pay for it. It is the right move if you want the CT5 to feel more special and more capable than the standard trims.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the enthusiast choice if you want the most extreme CT5 experience. It is the one to buy if outright performance is your priority.

Cadillac equips every CT5 with a comprehensive safety suite, so even the lower trims benefit from strong standard driver assistance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac CT5?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 891 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.06% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,928, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $43,930 sits slightly below last year's $47,782.

That price movement suggests the CT5 has softened enough to help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive resale environment. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you should be better positioned than someone who pays near the top of the range. The key for resale will be trim desirability, mileage, and how well the car’s tech and interior hold up over time.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 safe?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 earns top five-star ratings in every individual NHTSA evaluation, including rollover resistance.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Cadillac gives every CT5 a comprehensive set of driver-assistance systems, including a surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking assist, automatic collision-avoidance braking for intersections, active blind-spot monitoring that can steer to discourage unsafe lane changes, and Super Cruise with an active subscription. That makes the CT5 especially strong if you want a sedan with advanced standard safety tech.

The main caveat is that some of the most impressive features depend on subscription or specific equipment, so you should confirm exactly what is installed on the used car you are considering.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.06% compared with last year.
• It adds a new 33-inch display and more standard and available safety tech.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $38,187, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,930 average.
• It is a decent value with multiple powertrain choices.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the updated tech and safety package, especially if you value the new display and stronger in-car experience. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better path because it costs less and still delivers the CT5’s core strengths.
