Used 2025 Cadillac CT5 for Sale nearOlympia, WA

How much does the 2025 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 8.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 933 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of cars to compare.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is a compelling choice if you want a premium midsize sedan with strong tech content and a value-oriented price position. It earns a 3/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating, and the model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The 2025 updates center on a new 33-inch display, more standard and available safety tech, AKG audio, and refreshed styling, which helps the cabin feel more modern. The trade-offs are clear, though: it lacks overall polish and refinement, and it also has tight rear-seat headroom and limited cargo space.

That balance makes sense if you care more about features and driving appeal than maximum cabin practicality. 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is meaningful market choice if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is presented as a solid, well-equipped luxury sedan with a strong emphasis on technology and safety. The expert evaluation describes it as a good car with impressive in-car tech, and the performance notes point to a fundamentally good platform that delivers a lively drive.

The dependability story is helped by the CT5’s straightforward gasoline powertrain and its emphasis on proven hardware rather than complexity for its own sake. Cadillac also includes standard Teen Driver technology, which can help you monitor vehicle use if the car will be shared in the household.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright mechanical weakness and more about living with a sedan that may need extra attention to detail as it ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper history review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, interior condition, and any signs of hard use, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and cabin presentation. Pay close attention to rear-seat space and cargo-area needs if you plan to use the car as a daily family sedan.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup no longer includes the Luxury trim level, and the remaining trims are Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing. The base versions emphasize the new 33-inch display and modern cabin tech, while the higher trims add more performance and equipment. If you want the best value, the Premium Luxury trim is the one to focus on.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the optional twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 produces 335 hp and 405 lb-ft. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available with both engines.
• Safety package: Every CT5 includes a comprehensive driver-assistance suite with a surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking assist, automatic collision-avoidance braking for intersections, and active blind-spot monitoring that can steer to discourage unsafe lane changes. Super Cruise is the standout feature, but it requires an active subscription.
• Infotainment: The 33-inch panoramic display combines digital instrumentation and a wide infotainment touchscreen with Google Built-in. You also get wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Google Maps navigation, Google Assistant, SiriusXM 360L, Amazon Alexa compatibility, and a 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four returns 25-26 mpg combined, while the twin-turbo V6 returns 21-22 mpg combined. The V6 is the stronger engine, but it comes with a clear fuel-economy penalty.

Which 2025 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 4 trim levels: Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing.

Here's the short version:

• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim if you want the CT5’s core appeal without chasing the highest price. It gives you the modern cabin tech, the strong feature set, and the balanced luxury-sedan character that define the model.
• Sport: Choose this if you want a more driver-focused feel and the same basic CT5 formula with a sportier presentation. It suits you if style and road feel matter as much as comfort.
• CT5-V: Step here if you want a more performance-oriented CT5 and are willing to pay for it. This is the trim for buyers who want more excitement than the standard lineup delivers.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the top performance choice for shoppers who want the most serious CT5 experience. It is the one to consider if outright capability matters more than value.

Cadillac also equips every CT5 with a comprehensive safety package, including Super Cruise, surround-view camera coverage, semi-automated parking assist, and intersection collision-avoidance braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac CT5?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, compare, and wait for the right car.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 933 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,340, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $43,340 sits slightly below last year's $47,189.

That price movement suggests the CT5 has softened enough to create a better entry point for used buyers. If you buy well now, you may reduce the risk of overpaying relative to the recent market peak.

For a future seller, the current trend means resale value may remain sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment. A well-kept CT5 with desirable features should hold up better than a plain example, but the broader market is still favoring buyers right now.

Is the 2025 Cadillac CT5 safe?

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 earns top five-star ratings in every individual evaluation from NHTSA, including rollover resistance.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Cadillac equips every CT5 with a comprehensive driver-assistance suite that includes a surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking assist, automatic collision-avoidance braking for intersections, and active blind-spot monitoring that can steer to discourage unsafe lane changes. Super Cruise is the headline feature, and with an active subscription it provides hands-free driving on approved roads across North America.

The main caveat is that Super Cruise depends on driver attention monitoring and will disengage if you are not paying attention. Even so, the CT5’s safety package is one of its strongest selling points.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.16% compared with last year.
• The 2025 refresh adds a new 33-inch display, more safety tech, and a more modern cabin presentation.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $38,172, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,340 average.
• It carries over unchanged and remains a familiar, distinctive midsize luxury sedan.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the updated tech, added safety content, and a more current cabin experience. If your priority is saving money and you can live without the refresh, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
