Used 2025 BMW X7 for Sale nearGrand Rapids, MN

How much does the 2025 BMW X7 cost?

Prices have softened 14.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,919 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 BMW X7 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 BMW X7 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The X7 is BMW’s flagship SUV, aimed at you if you want more space, luxury, and seats while staying in the BMW fold. It also stands out as BMW’s biggest SUV and as a familiar, not radically new, choice for 2025.

The trade-offs are clear: its design may be polarizing, and its interior materials are described as unimpressive. Even so, the X7’s strong driving manners and easy-to-use technology make it appealing if you value a large luxury SUV with BMW character.

38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 BMW X7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 BMW X7 is described as a familiar model that continues without major changes, which can be reassuring if you prefer a proven formula over a fresh redesign. Its performance setup also points to a well-developed package, with standard xDrive all-wheel drive, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that reduces engine workload a bit for improved fuel economy.

BMW’s four-year/50,000-mile new-vehicle warranty is within the norms of established luxury brands, and the model’s reasonable value for money helps soften the ownership equation. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a complex luxury SUV can become expensive if you inherit neglected maintenance or deferred repairs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW X7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV with available performance and chassis tech. Focus on overall condition, signs of heavy use, and whether the equipment you want is actually present on the specific listing.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models come standard with 21-inch wheels, while 22-inch and 23-inch wheels are also available. The M Sport Package adds 22-inch wheels, a more aggressive front end, rear valance, side skirts, and extra M branding, while the M Sport Professional Package primarily adds darkened exterior trim.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 375 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque, plus a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with 523 hp and 553 lb-ft. The specialty Alpina XB7 uses an upgraded 4.4-liter V8 rated at 631 hp and 590 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, park assist, and lane-keep assist. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, traffic jam assist, and BMW’s hands-free Highway Assistant system are part of the Driving Assistance Professional Package.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen under BMW Curved Display, plus standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. BMW also includes digital-key functionality and augmented reality navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The six-cylinder X7 xDrive40i is rated at 20 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, while the V8-powered X7 M60i xDrive is rated at 16 mpg city and 20 mpg highway.

Which 2025 BMW X7 trim should I buy?

The 2025 BMW X7 is offered in 3 trim levels: xDrive40i, M60i xDrive, Alpina XB7.

Here's the short version:

• xDrive40i: This is the best-value choice if you want the X7’s core strengths without jumping to the pricier performance models. It gives you the turbocharged inline-six, standard xDrive AWD, and the same easy-to-use tech and roomy flagship-SUV feel, while the Dynamic Handling Package can add much of the sharper driving character that makes the X7 stand out.
• M60i xDrive: Choose this if you want the strongest blend of performance and luxury. It adds the twin-turbo V8, standard rear-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, and active roll stabilization, making it the most compelling pick if you care most about driving feel.
• Alpina XB7: Pick this only if you want the most extreme performance version. It uses an upgraded V8 with 631 hp and is the quickest and fastest X7 variant, but it sits well above the others in price and is aimed at buyers who want something far more specialized.

BMW notes that the Driving Assistance Professional Package adds adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and Highway Assistant.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW X7?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop with a clear target and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,919 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $71,410, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW X7's resale value?

The current average of $71,410 sits slightly below last year's $83,345.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later, especially if you choose a desirable trim and keep the vehicle in strong condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 BMW X7 safe?

The 2025 BMW X7 does not have crash-test ratings cited here.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, park assist, and lane-keep assist. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, traffic jam assist, and BMW’s hands-free Highway Assistant system are included in the Driving Assistance Professional Package.

Highway Assistant can manage acceleration and braking while keeping the vehicle centered in its lane, and it also includes an automated lane-change function. A key caveat is that these more advanced features are not standard, even at this price point.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW X7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model continues without major changes, so you’re getting a familiar flagship SUV with strong driving manners and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of this familiar X7 formula, the 2025 is the straightforward choice. If you’re mainly chasing the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2025’s softer pricing and strong inventory make it a sensible place to shop.
