How much does the 2025 BMW 7 Series cost?

Is the 2025 BMW 7 Series a good car?

The 2025 BMW 7 Series stands out as a full-size luxury sedan that leans hard into technology and powertrain variety. BMW positions it as its flagship sedan, and this generation continues that role with a lineup that includes mild hybrids, a plug-in hybrid, and an all-electric model.

For you, that means the 7 Series is aimed at buyers who want a large luxury sedan with a deeply tech-focused interior, strong engines, and a broad range of electrified choices. The tradeoffs are the ones that often come with this class: expensive options, high depreciation, and a poor turning circle.

With 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 BMW 7 Series reliable?

The 2025 BMW 7 Series is presented as a flagship luxury sedan with a broad powertrain lineup and a highly advanced cabin. It emphasizes comfort, technology, and performance, while also offering the kind of rear-seat amenities and electrified options many luxury shoppers want.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is tied to the complexity and cost that often come with a heavily equipped flagship sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW 7 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s equipment and service records match the listing. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury sedan with advanced electronics and multiple powertrain types. Focus on overall condition, because expensive options and complex systems can make neglected examples costlier to own.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 618 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $80,231, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $80,231 sits slightly below last year's $101,238.

That drop suggests the market has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation. If you buy now, you may be entering at a more favorable price point than buyers did a year ago. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped and maintained.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.75% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $67,282, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $80,231 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option and a lightly updated infotainment system.

The bottom line:
The 2025 is the better pick if you want the newer model year and are shopping for a well-priced, well-equipped flagship sedan with strong inventory support. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter value play, especially if you want to save money while still getting many of the same core luxury and performance strengths.
