Is the 2025 Audi Q8 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q8 stands out as Audi’s flagship SUV, and its appeal starts with its shape and positioning. It blends style with substance through a distinctive exterior, a more exclusive two-row layout, and a premium-feeling cabin that gives second-row passengers more room than the related three-row model.

It also brings a strong standard equipment list, a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 with 335 horsepower, standard quattro all-wheel drive, and a refined road-focused character. For you, that means the Q8 makes the most sense if you want a luxury SUV that feels more distinctive and upscale than a conventional family hauler.

32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q8 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q8 is described as having average reliability across every model year, with its strengths centered on style, performance, and luxury rather than low-cost ownership. It also pairs a strong powertrain with a polished driving experience, which helps it feel well-rounded for daily use.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is mainly tied to potentially expensive maintenance and possible issues with the 48-volt mild hybrid system, air suspension, and infotainment software.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re seriously considering, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, electronics, and hybrid-related components, since those are the areas most worth verifying on a used luxury SUV. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because that matters more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q8?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 313 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,305, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $61,305 sits slightly below last year's $71,012.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of overpaying. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the Q8 in strong shape and document service carefully, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is a strong choice if you want the Q8’s upscale design, strong standard equipment, and softer current pricing. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a similar ownership experience at a lower entry point, so compare condition and equipment closely before deciding.
