Is the 2025 Audi A5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A5 is a stylish luxury car that blends premium feel, useful cargo space, and modern tech in a single package. It gives you broader appeal than the coupe-focused versions that came before it, and the hatchback body adds practicality without losing its upscale character.

The A5’s standard equipment is generous, with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, and a suite of driver-assistance features. It also leans heavily into digital features, which makes it a strong fit if you want a modern luxury car that feels well equipped from the start.

Is the 2025 Audi A5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A5 is presented as a polished, well-equipped luxury car with a strong safety profile, including a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Its standard driver-assistance features and upscale hardware support the impression of a thoughtfully engineered car.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium, technology-heavy model can be more expensive to keep in top shape if you skip maintenance or buy a neglected example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s maintenance records line up with its mileage and age. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, electronics, and interior features, since this model leans heavily on digital systems and premium equipment. Focus on overall condition and how well the car has been cared for, not just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,324, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $40,324 sits slightly below last year's $50,714.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped and maintained. If you keep the car clean, documented, and accident-free, you give yourself the best chance of protecting value later.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.49% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 Audi A5 makes the most sense if you want the newer hatchback-style body, strong standard equipment, and a market that has already moved lower on price. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still be worth considering, but the 2025 is the better fit if you want the updated shape and a solid mix of inventory quality and deal availability.
