Used 2025 Audi A3 for Sale near New York

How much does the 2025 Audi A3 cost?

Prices have softened 7.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 598 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A3 earns a 7.67/10 expert rating, and it stands out as a small luxury sedan that feels more engaging than many shoppers might expect.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

That lines up with the A3’s strengths: it offers superior performance, nimbler handling, premium interior materials, and impressive technology, all in a compact package that feels upscale and well equipped. The trade-offs are familiar small-car compromises, including a cramped back seat and limited cargo space, and the lane-departure warning system can be distracting. For you, that means the A3 makes the most sense if you value driving enjoyment and a polished cabin more than rear-seat room or maximum utility.

Good and great deals percentage: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A3 is presented as a refined daily driver with a solid, structurally sound feel, and its standard turbocharged 2.0-liter engine and dual-clutch transmission are described as smooth and satisfying in real-world use.

Its performance notes point to a well-calibrated powertrain that feels quick and nimble, with strong grip and effective brakes, while the cost-effectiveness commentary frames ownership as typical for the segment rather than especially value-focused. Audi also includes a basic set of driver-assistance features across the lineup, which adds everyday confidence.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is still a small luxury car with premium-car complexity, so condition and maintenance history matter more than they would on a simpler mainstream sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A3?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on cabin condition, electronics behavior, and how the car drives at low speeds and on the highway, since those are the areas where a used luxury sedan can reveal wear or quirks.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium and Premium Plus are the two trim packages, and the Premium Plus is the one that adds the more advanced driver-assistance setup. If you want the most complete feature set, that’s the trim to target.
• Powertrain: The A3 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and newly standard Quattro all-wheel drive. It’s tuned for quick, nimble driving and returns 28 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Audi Pre Sense Front, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring are standard. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist, Lane Guidance, and hands-on detection for the steering wheel.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.25-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Audi Connect services, and a six-speaker sound system. The Technology Package adds a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus display and navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The A3 is EPA-rated at 28 mpg combined, and the evaluation loop returned 28.4 mpg.

Which 2025 Audi A3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi A3 is offered in 2 trim levels: Premium and Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the trim to start with if you want the A3’s core appeal at the lower entry point. You still get the standard turbocharged powertrain, Quattro AWD, wireless smartphone integration, and the full basic safety suite, so it covers the essentials well.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim if you want the A3 to feel more fully loaded. It adds the upgraded Sonos premium sound system, SiriusXM 360L, and the more advanced driver-assistance features, including Adaptive Cruise Assist and Lane Guidance.

The safety-package upgrade is concentrated in Premium Plus, so if driver-assistance tech matters to you, that trim is the one to prioritize.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A3?

The market looks moderate for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 598 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,094, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $32,094 sits slightly below last year's $34,879.

That price movement suggests the A3 has softened enough to create a better entry point for you as a buyer, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive resale environment. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you should be better positioned to limit depreciation pain later. For a used luxury sedan, trim choice and maintenance history will matter a lot when it comes time to resell.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 safe?

The 2025 Audi A3 earns its top rating in a small overlap front crash test from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi Pre Sense Front is standard and bundles forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. Standard equipment also includes lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist, Lane Guidance with lane-keeping and lane-centering assist, and hands-on detection for the steering wheel.

One caveat is that the lane-departure warning system can issue false alerts, so you should pay attention to how it behaves during your test drive.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.98% compared with last year.
• The refreshed model’s newly standard Quattro AWD and additional standard features are important to you.

The bottom line: The 2025 A3 is the better pick if you want the refreshed version with standard AWD, strong driving dynamics, and a more complete feature set. If you’re mainly focused on stretching your budget, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 gives you the most polished version of this small luxury sedan.
