You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s records match its condition. Focus on wear items, maintenance consistency, and any signs that the car has been repaired or neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Prius Prime?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 287 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,791, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Prius Prime's resale value?

The current average of $32,798 sits slightly below last year's $34,019.

That softer pricing can help you buy with a bit more confidence today, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the market holds up from here. If prices stabilize, a well-kept example should remain easier to move later than one with visible wear or a rough history. Strong condition and clean records matter even more when the market is already showing some price softness.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Prius Prime or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, clean inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the benefits of this year’s stronger market signals.
