What is the 2024 Toyota Highlander's resale value?

The current average of $39,103 sits slightly above last year's $38,906.

That small increase suggests the Highlander is holding value well rather than swinging sharply in either direction. If you buy carefully and keep the vehicle in good condition, you may be able to preserve more of its value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Highlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is a strong choice if you want a comfort-focused, practical midsize SUV with stable pricing and broad market availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2024 remains the better pick when you want a balanced mix of condition, demand, and confidence in ownership.
