How much does the 2024 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have softened 2.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,281 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Toyota Corolla, and that lines up with its broad appeal. The Corolla stands out for its wide range of body styles and powertrains, including sedan, hatchback, hybrid, and GR Corolla variants, so you can shop for practicality, efficiency, or a more performance-focused setup within the same nameplate. It also emphasizes style and desirability more than recent Corolla models, while keeping the compact-car formula centered on practicality and low running costs.

With 38.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example.

Is the 2024 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Corolla’s appeal is rooted in its practicality and reputation, and its long-standing strengths of reliability and low running costs remain central to its identity. It is presented as well equipped, with high-tech safety features and a lineup that gives you multiple ways to shop the model.

For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership stress if you choose a well-kept example and stay on top of routine maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not replace a specific vehicle’s history. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage car or one with a sportier trim. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear that match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,281 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,821, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $20,886 sits slightly below last year's $21,436.

That price movement suggests the Corolla has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale performance may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim desirability than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples should still benefit from the Corolla’s practical reputation and wide shopper appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $22,477, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $20,886 average.
• It adds the FX sedan with exclusive design details and sport-tuned steering and suspension.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability. If you are willing to pay more for the newer model’s added styling and chassis tuning, the 2025 is the better secondary path for buyers who want the freshest version.
