Why it stands out
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner continues to uphold its reputation as a reliable off-roading SUV, revered for its solid build and off-road performance. While it offers a powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine generating 270 horsepower, the vehicle struggles with sluggish performance owing to its outdated five-speed automatic transmission. Many buyers appreciate the ample cargo space and the robust design, which, although seen as classic, may not cater to those desiring modern aesthetics and technology. The 4Runner excels in rough terrains with features like available four-wheel drive and a stable stance enhanced by its boxy structure. While it does well off-road, this model's high rear-end squat during acceleration can make highway driving feel less confident. The 4Runner remains a popular choice among outdoor enthusiasts thanks to its durability and availability of features like blind spot monitoring and heated seats, but its fuel economy and old-school interior could deter potential buyers seeking a more contemporary driving experience.

This is one of the best cars on the market. The only thing i think its missing is a leveling kit. Having it sit a little higher i think makes it easier to see/ safer. The reliability and low car maintenance make this a great option for someone who doesnt want to spend money on repairs.
