Is the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck a good car?

Yes — 5/5. The 2024 Tesla Cybertruck is built for buyers who want a truck that feels more like a tech-forward daily driver than a conventional pickup, with a stainless-steel exoskeleton, steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, and a minimalist cabin centered around large touchscreens. It also suits you best if you value performance, software features, and occasional towing more than heavy-duty truck work. With 23.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Cybertruck’s overview points to early-model concerns, including panel gaps, body fitment issues, tonneau cover problems, and low-voltage electrical faults. That means you should treat condition and build quality as especially important on the used market, because repair complexity and ownership costs can be higher than you might expect for a mainstream truck.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Tesla Cybertruck?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a full history report, especially if you are comparing multiple listings with similar prices. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body fitment, panel alignment, tonneau cover operation, and any signs of electrical issues. Because this truck has unusual engineering and early build concerns, condition matters more than mileage alone.

What is the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck's resale value?

The current average of $82,136 sits slightly above last year's $78,920.

That price movement suggests the market has held up well for this model year, which can help support resale value if you buy carefully. If you choose a clean, well-documented truck, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell. Strong pricing also means you should be disciplined about overpaying, because resale strength works best when your purchase price is reasonable.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Tesla Cybertruck or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 23.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.08% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the Cybertruck’s most distinctive mix of design, tech, and performance and you can shop carefully for condition and price. If you are more price-sensitive, a different year may give you a better entry point, but you should still focus on clean history and a thorough inspection before buying.
