Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $22,421, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $18,691 average.
• It brings a full redesign with a much better overall package.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the smarter buy because it combines lower pricing with a healthy supply of listings. If you can stretch for a newer redesign and want the more polished option, the 2025 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 remains the more compelling choice.
