Is the 2024 Lexus NX a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Lexus NX earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a compact premium SUV with distinctive styling, a luxury feel, and a strong reputation for reliability. It also notes that you get a polished, upscale experience with a broad range of powertrains, though it is not the most rewarding drive in the segment and is not the most practical either. That makes it a strong fit if you want a premium-feeling SUV with a familiar formula and multiple ways to tailor the powertrain to your priorities. The market also shows 38.0% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes Lexus’ strong reputation for reliability and describes the NX as a high-quality product. It also points to a conservative ownership case built around dependability rather than flash. For used buyers, that usually means lower long-term ownership risk if you choose a well-kept example and stay on top of routine maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the history report carefully so you can confirm the car’s background and spot any prior damage or title issues. Put inspection priority on overall condition, especially signs of wear that might not match the mileage or asking price. Focus on how the vehicle presents inside and out, since a premium SUV should feel well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop but should still move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,907 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,652, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $39,652 sits slightly below last year's $40,994.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For future resale, a model that already has strong brand and reliability appeal may hold buyer interest better than a less established luxury SUV. If you keep the vehicle in clean condition and maintain it well, you improve your odds of getting stronger value later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the NX’s current formula, a strong reliability story, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you a balanced mix of availability, condition, and softened pricing.
