How much does the 2024 Lexus GX cost?

Is the 2024 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Lexus GX earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a completely overhauled SUV with more space than before, a more practical liftgate, and a broader trim range that lets you tailor it toward family use or off-road focus. Is the 2024 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a well-rounded redesign with substantial updates to packaging, usability, and equipment, which is a good sign for used buyers looking for a modernized platform. Its comfort-focused tuning and broad feature set also point to a vehicle built for everyday use as much as weekend trips. For long-term ownership, the main risk is that a premium, capability-focused SUV can be costly to maintain if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus GX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck’s equipment matches the trim and options advertised. Put inspection priority on signs of off-road use, tire wear, suspension condition, and any evidence of body or underbody damage. Because this model can be configured for family duty or rugged use, condition matters more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus GX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,396 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.74% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $77,709, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $77,709 sits slightly below last year's $84,225.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward from the prior year, which can help you buy with less near-term depreciation pressure than before. If demand stays steady, a well-kept GX should remain appealing to shoppers who want a luxury SUV with real capability. Strong condition and desirable equipment will matter most when you eventually resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $54,509, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $77,709 average.
• It offers traditional V8-powered rugged charm with proven comfort.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $84,532, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $77,709 average.
• It adds stronger standard tech and off-road capability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the redesigned GX experience with a healthier used-market price than the 2025. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the value play, especially if you prefer its older-school character.
