Used 2024 Lexus GX for Sale nearPalm Desert, CA

How much does the 2024 Lexus GX cost?

Prices have softened 7.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,450 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Lexus GX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 model is positioned as a luxury SUV that emphasizes capability without giving up upscale touches, and it brings more passenger and cargo space than before along with a more modern layout. It also offers a wide trim range, so you can lean toward comfort or off-road intent depending on how you plan to use it. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 GX is described as a luxury SUV that combines genuine off-road hardware with an upscale cabin and a broad trim walk, which can be a good sign for buyers who want a well-rounded vehicle. Its conventional liftgate, expanded space, and standard equipment on the entry trim also suggest a thoughtfully updated design. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a capability-focused luxury SUV can bring higher running costs if you use its hardware hard or buy a poorly maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus GX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the SUV has been used for towing, off-road driving, or frequent family hauling. Pay close attention to the cabin, suspension, tires, and any signs of uneven wear that could hint at harder use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus GX?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options but not so much that every listing is deeply discounted.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,450 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $78,318, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $78,318 sits slightly below last year's $84,552.

That price movement suggests the GX has become a bit more accessible for buyers, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right number. A softer current market can also mean you may not recover as much as an early buyer paid, so entry price matters. If you plan to resell later, buying near the low end of the range gives you more room to preserve value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $54,833, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $78,318 average.
• It offers old-school ruggedness with a V8 and traditional SUV character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $85,313, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $78,318 average.
• It adds a more polished, well-rounded package with strong standard tech and safety.

The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the newest redesign and a balanced mix of luxury and capability. If price is your top priority, the 2023 is the value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for the latest refinement.
