Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus ES Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have some room to shop carefully without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 457 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.39% year-over-year.

The current average of $42,824 sits slightly above last year's $42,237.

That suggests the market has held up reasonably well, which can help support resale confidence if you buy at the right price. A modest year-over-year increase also signals that demand has remained steady rather than falling off sharply. If you plan to sell later, buying near the lower end of the range can improve your odds of preserving value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus ES Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.39% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better path if you want a current-year used option with solid owner satisfaction and a decent pool of listings to compare. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year with a lower average price may be worth considering, but the 2024 gives you a balanced mix of demand, inventory, and buyer confidence.
