Should I buy a 2024 Kia Niro EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,301, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,384 average.
• It offers broad availability and a practical, spacious setup with strong everyday usability.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market mix of value, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in clean condition with a solid history.
