CarGurus Analysis: 2024 Kia EV6
Summary
With 1,360 currently listed for sale and an average price of $27,477, 41.1% of 2024 Kia EV6 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Kia EV6 3.8 / 5 stars.
90.7% of 2024 Kia EV6 listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Kia EV6 stands out as a stylish, tech-forward compact electric crossover with a more coupe-like profile than many rivals and a driver-focused cockpit. It is built on Hyundai Motor Group’s Electric-Global Modular Platform, and that foundation gives it 800-volt electrical architecture and vehicle-to-load capability. Those traits help define the EV6’s appeal: it is aimed at buyers who want something sporty and fun to drive, with a high-tech interior and fast charging.
For 2024, the EV6 did not see any major changes, so its strengths remain the same mix of premium features and broad equipment. The model offers dual 12.3-inch screens, a long list of standard safety features, available all-wheel drive, and a firmer, sportier suspension than some alternatives. It also comes with standard battery pre-conditioning and a lot of useful tech, which helps make it feel well equipped for the money.
There are tradeoffs, though. The EV6’s range is described as unimpressive, and it does not offer much cargo space. Some safety features can also be aggravating. Even so, the 2024 Kia EV6 remains appealing for shoppers who value distinctive styling, quick charging, and a premium-feeling electric crossover experience.

I purchased a 2022 Kia EV6 Wind AWD with about 8k miles on it in September. Drove it the last 4 months and it was a very responsive and great handling car. I had multiple issues with Chargepoint and ended up replacing it with a Wallbox home charger. The wallbox is faster (11.5 kw/h) as well and much more reliable. I totaled the car last week and had zero injuries thanks to the amazing crash worthiness and safety features. I have to shop for a new car and I will probably get another one. Price/quality is right up there ! Some of the features are a little quirky to use and I dont like that the apple car play must be plugged in still. Probably my only negatives.

Expensive for normal features. I can get similar features in Hyundai kona, Kia nero or Nissan leaf. Alternative options are better than this.

| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $27,465 |
| Year-Round Low | $26,922 |
| Year-Round High | $29,849 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $29,839 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −7.96% |

There are 1,346 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used EV6 options to compare.
Is the 2024 Kia EV6 a good car?
The 2024 Kia EV6 is a strong fit if you want a stylish, tech-forward electric crossover with a driver-focused cockpit and a premium-feeling setup. It earns a user rating of 3.8/5, and its appeal centers on the coupe-like design, 800-volt architecture, vehicle-to-load capability, dual 12.3-inch screens, standard battery pre-conditioning, and available all-wheel drive.
You should also weigh the tradeoffs: the range is described as unimpressive, cargo space is limited, and some safety features can be aggravating. Even so, the EV6 makes the most sense if you value quick charging, distinctive styling, and a sporty feel over maximum utility. 42.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you meaningful room to shop.
Is the 2024 Kia EV6 reliable?
The 2024 Kia EV6 is presented as a well-equipped electric crossover with a long list of standard safety features, standard battery pre-conditioning, and a premium-feeling interior. Its platform and tech-forward design are central to its appeal, and the model’s overall package is aimed at buyers who want something polished and modern.
For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the EV6’s weaker range and limited cargo space may matter more over time if your needs grow beyond commuting and light family use.
What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia EV6?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s accident and title history before you commit. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior electronics, since this model leans heavily on its tech and EV hardware. Focus on overall condition and charging performance, especially if you plan to keep the car for the long haul.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia EV6?
This is a favorable time to shop because pricing has moved down, deal share is healthy, and there is enough inventory to compare options without rushing.
- Deal availability: 42.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 1,346 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.96% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 90.6% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $26,922, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Kia EV6's resale value?
The current average of $27,465 sits slightly below last year's $29,839.
That price movement suggests the EV6 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped relative to similar listings. If you buy at the right price now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you give yourself a better chance of limiting losses later.
Should I buy a 2024 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 42.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.96% compared with last year.
Consider the 2025 if:
- The 2025 adds a facelift, revised interior, more battery capacity, and updated charging hardware.
The bottom line: The 2024 is the better primary target if you want a strong used-value play with plenty of listings and a softer price trend. If you care more about the newest updates and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the better secondary path; if you want the best deal, the 2024 deserves your first look.
