Working with an electric motor, the setup makes a combined output of 232 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to a six-speed automatic transmission. No word from Hyundai yet on fuel economy estimates. ## Interior The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid boasts an airy, upscale cabin. Straight lines meet organic touches such as the curved woodgrain bezel in some trims. As we’ll touch on in a moment, the Santa Fe Hybrid features plenty of screen space, but it also has conventional controls down in the center console for climate and stereo controls. The front row is available with new Relaxation Comfort Seats. They feature leg rests that allow the driver and front passenger to find a comfortable seating position that Hyundai claims simulates weightlessness. With three rows of seating, the Santa Fe Hybrid provides room for up to seven passengers with a second-row bench. The available second-row power reclining captains chairs bring the seating capacity down to six. The radar-based rear-seat occupant alert will remind you of kids or pets in the back seat before exiting the vehicle. The Santa Fe Hybrid is also available with a 12-speaker Bose premium stereo system. With the third row folded, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid provides up to 40.5 cubic feet of cargo space, which is an improvement of 4.1 cubic feet over the previous model. The rear cargo hatch opening is 5.7 inches larger than that of its predecessor. ## Technology A large curved digital display dominates the Santa Fe Hybrid’s dash. It’s home to the fully digital instrument panel, as well as the massive touchscreen that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Available features include dual wireless charging pads, USB-C fast charging, and third-row USB charging ports. A unique feature of the Santa Fe Hybrid is the UV-C compartment in the glovebox, which can be used to sterilize commonly used items such as a wallet or sunglasses. ## Safety The Hyundai Santa Fe is brimming with the latest high-tech driver-assistance features, including navigation-based smart cruise control, forward collision avoidance, and forward driver-attention warning, which features an infrared camera in the steering wheel to measure the driver’s alertness. The Santa Fe Hybrid is available with remote smart parking assist and Safe Exit Assist, which can alert occupants to potential hazards before exiting the vehicle. Other safety tech includes front and rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, and intelligent speed limit assist. ## Pricing At the time of this writing, pricing has not yet been announced for the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid.
