Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 10.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,437 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech, comfortable driving experience, and generous passenger space. The Palisade also comes across as a strong value, with a roomy cabin and thoughtful amenities that fit family use well. On the downside, the design may be polarizing, fuel economy is poor, and it lacks wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For you, that means the Palisade makes the most sense if you want a three-row SUV that feels upscale and practical rather than flashy in a conventional way. It also lands well if you care about comfort, space, and features more than maximum efficiency.

Deal availability is healthy, with 40.5% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners emphasizing the Palisade’s strong value, comfortable daily use, and features they can count on over time. The expert evaluation also highlights long-term appeal through its excellent value proposition and complimentary scheduled service for three years, which helps reduce early ownership burden.

That said, used buyers should still watch for condition-related issues tied to mileage, maintenance history, and feature operation, since long-term satisfaction does not replace a careful pre-purchase inspection.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, confirm whether the vehicle has had any bodywork, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and tires. Because this SUV is often bought for family duty, condition matters as much as mileage, especially on higher-trim examples with more equipment to test.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from SE to Calligraphy Night Edition, and the lower trims are more basic than the upper trims. The higher trims add a more upscale interior feel, while the Night Edition brings blacked-out exterior treatment and AWD-only availability.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. AWD models add traction benefits, and the SUV can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
• Safety package: SmartSense includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high beams, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder. HDA adds adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centering assist, and SEL Premium adds lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: All models get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth for two devices, Bluelink+ connected services, Wi-Fi access, SiriusXM, and rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard but wired, while wireless charging starts with SEL trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model is rated at 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test loop returned 18.8 mpg in Comfort mode.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Palisade’s core space, V6 power, and standard safety tech at the lowest price.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more convenience and tech while staying below the luxury-leaning upper trims.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking version, but note that some safety features available on SEL Premium are not available here.
• Limited: This is a strong step up if you want more premium equipment and the added blind-spot safety layers.
• Calligraphy: This is the upscale choice if you want the most luxurious feel and the richest feature set.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: Pick this if you want the most distinctive appearance, AWD-only hardware, and the most dramatic blacked-out styling.

The SEL Premium package adds useful safety and convenience equipment, including front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, surround-view camera, Blind-Spot View Monitor, and lane-change assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

The market leans in your favor right now, with meaningful deal availability and a healthy supply of listings.

• Deal availability: 40.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,437 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,196, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $33,196 sits slightly below last year's $37,243.

That price movement suggests the Palisade has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. For a seller, that means your best outcome will likely come from buying well, keeping the vehicle clean, and preserving service records.

Because the model still has strong owner satisfaction and broad family appeal, demand should remain reasonably healthy among used buyers. Well-equipped trims with desirable features may hold attention better than bare-bones examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets five-star ratings for side-impact collisions and four-star rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centering assist, and SEL Premium adds lane-change assist.

A key caveat is that NHTSA frontal crash results are incomplete, so you should weigh the available ratings alongside the Palisade’s strong driver-assistance equipment.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines distinctive styling, upscale materials, and thoughtful amenities with standard three-zone climate control and Bluelink+.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,479, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $33,196 average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard and optional tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,242, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $33,196 average.
• It reshuffles the lineup and makes the SEL Premium a trim level instead of a package.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, features, and current-market availability, the 2024 is the smart default. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest version of this generation, the 2025 is worth a look.
