Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 10.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,500 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech, comfortable driving experience, and generous room for passengers. The Palisade also comes across as a terrific family hauler with upscale materials and thoughtful amenities, and it brings strong value for money to the midsize three-row SUV class.

The trade-offs are its potentially polarizing design and poor fuel economy, along with the lack of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you want a roomy, well-equipped family SUV and you like the styling, this year’s Palisade fits that use case especially well.

Good and great deals account for 40.1% of listings, which is a healthy share of the market.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as dependable, comfortable, and well suited to long-term use, with many highlighting its luxurious feel and abundant tech features. The Palisade’s V6 powertrain is described as plenty powerful, with satisfying acceleration and a transmission that stays in the right gear at the right time.

Hyundai also backs the SUV with three years of complimentary scheduled service, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the vehicle was maintained well, since higher-feature trims can be more complex and expensive to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free listings are common but not guaranteed. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and electronics, especially on higher-trim examples with more equipment. It also makes sense to focus on condition and maintenance records, since the Palisade’s appeal depends heavily on how well its upscale features have been preserved.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition. Lower trims come standard with front-wheel drive, while the Calligraphy Night Edition comes only with all-wheel drive and adds a blacked-out appearance with dark chrome and gloss black exterior trim, badges, and wheels. The base trims are the ones most likely to leave you wanting more equipment.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available on higher-spec versions, and the SUV is tuned more for smooth, confident driving than hard off-road use.
• Safety package: SmartSense includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist pairs adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centering assist, and the SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist. The SEL Premium package also adds front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, and a surround-view and Blind-Spot View Monitor camera system, while those features are not available with the XRT trim.
• Infotainment: Every Palisade has a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth for two devices, Bluelink+ connected services, Wi-Fi access, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but they require a cable connection. Wireless charging starts with SEL trim, and the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel is available on SEL Premium, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.
• Fuel efficiency: The Palisade is not particularly fuel efficient. The AWD model should get 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 18.8 mpg on the evaluation loop.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but the Palisade’s appeal grows quickly as you move up the lineup. If you want the lowest-cost way into the model, this is the starting point, but it leaves you with fewer of the upscale touches that make the Palisade stand out.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds meaningful equipment without pushing too far up the price ladder. It also unlocks wireless charging, and it can be paired with the SEL Premium package for more advanced tech and safety features.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking version, but keep in mind that the added style does not bring the same safety-package upgrades available on SEL Premium-equipped models.
• Limited: This is the first trim that really leans into the upscale side of the Palisade, with more of the premium equipment and a stronger luxury feel.
• Calligraphy: This is the most luxurious mainstream choice in the lineup, with the richest interior presentation and the most premium-feeling equipment.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: Pick this if you want the Calligraphy experience with the blacked-out appearance treatment and standard AWD.

The SEL Premium package is the key safety and tech upgrade path, especially if you want the surround-view camera system, Blind-Spot View Monitor, and lane-change assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with strong inventory and a meaningful price drop from last year.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,500 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,404, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $33,404 sits slightly below last year's $37,398.

That price movement suggests the Palisade has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it’s time to sell. Strong demand for roomy, well-equipped family SUVs should also help support interest in clean examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets five-star ratings for side-impact collisions and a four-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centering assist, and the SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist.

One caveat is that the IIHS rating does not reflect the SUV’s performance in a new moderate overlap frontal-impact test for rear occupant safety. The NHTSA crash-test picture is also incomplete because frontal impact results are not listed.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines distinctive styling with upscale materials, thoughtful amenities, and strong value.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,713, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $33,404 average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,492, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $33,404 average.
• It makes the SEL Premium a trim level and adds more standard equipment to the XRT.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2024 if you want the best balance of price, equipment, and market availability. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest version and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the alternative to compare.
