How much does the 2024 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 4.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,910 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot a good car?

Generally — 4.4/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Drivers consistently praise its spaciousness, its ability to seat eight, and the value it offers compared with other SUVs. The Pilot also fits well if you want a practical family hauler with lots of features and flexible cargo use. With 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable ownership experience centered on spaciousness and everyday usefulness, with many drivers feeling confident in the value it delivers over time. The same feedback also suggests some buyers have concerns about engine performance and handling, so you should weigh those tradeoffs against the Pilot’s practical strengths. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but condition and maintenance history still matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, repairs, or inconsistent wear. Pay extra attention to overall condition, since the Pilot’s value proposition depends heavily on getting the features and space you expect in clean working order. A careful test drive and a close look at interior and exterior condition can help you avoid paying strong money for a compromised example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,910 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,636, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $38,636 sits slightly below last year's $40,565.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market holds up. If prices remain stable or recover, a well-kept Pilot should remain appealing to family buyers who value space and practicality. Strong condition and a clean history will matter most when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $36,158, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,636 average.
• It brings a newly redesigned, more rugged look with strong family-friendly practicality.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $41,986, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,636 average.
• It simplifies the lineup while keeping the Pilot roomy and easy to live with.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped, spacious Pilot at a softened price. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer model-year setup and are comfortable paying more.
