What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on cabin wear, sliding-seat operation, and the condition of the rear-seat convenience features. Because this model is often bought for family duty, condition matters as much as price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Odyssey?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market for the 2024 Odyssey.

• Deal availability: 40.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,075 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.25% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,762, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $34,762 sits slightly below last year's $37,888.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more affordably today but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, a well-kept Odyssey with strong equipment and clean history should be easier to move than a neglected example. The current pricing trend also means you may want to buy carefully rather than assume appreciation later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,842, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $34,762 average.
• It adds updated tech, including a new digital driver display and refreshed infotainment.

The 2024 is the better value if you want the stronger price position and a broad pool of listings to shop. If you’re willing to pay a bit more for newer tech, the 2025 is the cleaner upgrade path. For most price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter starting point.
