Used 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,286 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable number of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It stands out as a compact car that blends quality, fun, safety, utility, and affordability, and the hatchback body adds meaningful everyday usefulness. The available manual transmission also gives it a more engaging character than many small cars, while the available turbocharged engine makes it especially appealing if you want something lively.

One trade-off is that all-wheel drive is not available, and another is that blind-spot warning is reserved for more expensive trims. Even so, the car’s mix of practicality and driving enjoyment makes it a strong fit if you want a compact hatchback that does not feel dull.

The market shows 37.8% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Civic Hatchback is described as practical and safe, and the expert evaluation also calls out its refined, sophisticated, and accurate driver-assistance behavior. That combination points to a car that should feel reassuring in daily use, especially if you value a well-rounded compact hatchback.

Honda Sensing is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and low-speed follow capability with the CVT, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, and traffic sign recognition.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that some desirable safety and convenience features are limited to pricier trims, so you may need to shop carefully if those matter to you.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a car with a sportier setup. Focus on overall condition, feature content, and whether the trim level matches what you want, since some equipment is reserved for pricier versions.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes the base LX, the value-oriented Sport, and the upscale EX-L, with the Sport Touring sitting at the top. Base trims are more basic inside, while the higher trims add more upscale materials and more technology.
• Powertrain: The LX and Sport use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 158 horsepower, while the EX-L and Sport Touring get a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 180 hp. The turbo engine is the better pick if you want more accessible power.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and low-speed follow capability with the CVT, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, and traffic sign recognition. Blind-spot warning is limited to the EX-L and Sport Touring, and rear cross-traffic alert plus front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are only on the Sport Touring.
• Infotainment: LX, Sport, and EX-L trims use a 7-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Sport Touring upgrades to a 10.2-inch digital display and a 9-inch touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, navigation, wireless smartphone charging, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The car returns between 29 mpg and 35 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 30.2 mpg during evaluation.

Which 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, Sport, EX-L, Sport Touring.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the simplest way into the hatchback, and it makes sense if you want the Civic’s core practicality and safety without paying for extras.
• Sport: This is the best-value trim if you want the most engaging setup for the money, especially because it adds the option of a six-speed manual transmission and keeps the car’s lively character intact.
• EX-L: This trim is the better choice if you want the turbocharged engine and a more upscale feel, but you do not need the top trim’s extra tech.
• Sport Touring: This is the most fully equipped version, with the biggest screens, wireless smartphone integration, premium audio, navigation, and the most complete convenience and safety feature set.

Blind-spot warning is limited to the EX-L and Sport Touring, and rear cross-traffic alert plus front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are only on the Sport Touring.

• Deal availability: 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,286 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,442, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback's resale value?

The current average of $25,116 sits slightly below last year's $25,284.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than volatile, which is generally helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate what your car may be worth down the road, especially if you keep it in good condition and maintain it well.

Because the model also has strong owner satisfaction, demand should remain healthy among used-car shoppers who want a practical hatchback with a good reputation. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback safe?

The 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback earns Good ratings in nearly all IIHS assessments, with an Acceptable result in the updated side-impact test, and it earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA with a five-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and low-speed follow capability with the CVT, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, and traffic sign recognition.

One caveat is that blind-spot warning is not standard and is limited to the EX-L and Sport Touring, while rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are exclusive to the Sport Touring. The Acceptable IIHS side-impact result is also worth noting if crash-test performance is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out as practical and safe, affordable yet first-rate, and fun to drive, with an available turbocharged engine and manual transmission that make it especially appealing.

The bottom line: The 2024 Civic Hatchback is the right pick if you want a well-rounded used compact car with strong utility, good safety credentials, and a more engaging personality than many rivals. If you are more price-sensitive, you can still shop this year carefully because the market is stable and deal availability is decent, but the 2024 is especially compelling if you value the hatchback’s mix of practicality and driving enjoyment.
