Used 2024 Genesis GV70 for Sale near New York

How much does the 2024 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 8.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,373 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

It stands out as a distinctive small luxury SUV with stylish design, impressive technology, and multiple powertrain options, including an all-electric variant. That gives you a broader set of choices than many rivals if you want a fresh-feeling luxury crossover with a strong tech story.

The trade-offs are clear: the ergonomic design is poor, and the ride and handling are merely adequate. If you value personality, tech, and powertrain variety more than polished dynamics, this is a strong fit.

39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GV70 is still a relatively fresh model, and its overall package leans on strong technology, a distinctive cabin, and broad powertrain choice. The gasoline models and the Electrified GV70 are both described as competent, and the electric version is presented as a well-executed option rather than a compromise.

The performance notes also point to a capable, straightforward setup: the gasoline versions use turbocharged engines with standard all-wheel drive, while the Electrified GV70 adds dual motors, strong output, and regenerative-braking controls. Genesis also backs the vehicle with generous warranty coverage, including a 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile new vehicle warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you can live with the GV70’s imperfect ride quality and ergonomics over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing gasoline and Electrified versions. Focus on overall condition, since the GV70’s appeal depends heavily on how well its tech, cabin materials, and driving feel have been preserved.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Genesis GV70?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,373 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,565, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $39,591 sits slightly below last year's $43,220.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to help you buy more selectively today, but it also means future sellers may face a softer pricing environment than owners saw a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

The GV70’s strong mix of style, technology, and broad powertrain choice should help it stay appealing to used shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 safe?

The 2024 Genesis GV70 received the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Top Safety Pick+ award for gasoline versions.

It earns four-star frontal and rollover crash-test ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist sensors, and Highway Driving Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control with automated lane centering. Highway Driving Assist 2 is also available and adds automated lane-change capability plus blind-spot monitoring.

One caveat is that complete 2024 NHTSA ratings were not available at the time of publication, and the published ratings mentioned for gasoline models do not cover every test category.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model keeps the GV70’s fresh styling, strong tech, and all-electric powertrain option.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,602, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $39,591 average.
• It emphasizes craftsmanship and refined performance.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version with strong inventory, better pricing momentum, and the broadest appeal, the 2024 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
