What is the 2024 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $42,050 sits slightly below last year's $46,140.

That price movement suggests the G80 has become more accessible in the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. A well-kept example should still benefit from the model’s value-oriented reputation and luxury positioning.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $52,742, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $42,050 average.
• It adds a refreshed, more sophisticated feel with premium materials and strong curb appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer-feeling package and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the better secondary path.
