Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2024 Genesis G80 backs that up with a polished, modern presentation and a strong value proposition. Its standard all-wheel drive, wide 27-inch OLED display, and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it feel upscale and easy to live with. The 2024 Genesis G80’s standard driver-assistance suite and upscale equipment list suggest a model built to feel complete from the start. Its appeal is strongest if you want a luxury sedan that emphasizes comfort, technology, and ease of use rather than a stripped-down or bare-bones ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about missing features and more about making sure the car’s condition and maintenance history match its premium positioning.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the car’s background and look for any prior damage or title issues. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check the electronics, cabin features, and overall wear, since this model leans heavily on technology and comfort equipment. Focus on condition details that matter in a luxury sedan, including interior wear, screen functionality, and how well the car has been maintained.

What is the 2024 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $43,727 sits slightly below last year's $46,712.

That softer pricing can help you buy more value today, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market continues to value this model’s equipment and luxury appeal. If demand stays steady, the G80’s strong feature content and upscale presentation should help it remain attractive to used shoppers. A lower entry price can also make it easier for you to protect value if you buy at the right point in the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,775, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $43,727 average.
• Fresh off a mid-cycle refresh, it leans harder into design and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer refresh and a more up-to-date presentation, the 2025 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize the latest styling and features over price.
