How much does the 2024 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 13.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,546 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

The 2024 GMC Yukon XL stands out as a full-size SUV built around space, capability, and a more refined ride than older versions. It adds more than a foot between the front and rear axles, which translates into extra passenger room in the third row and more cargo space behind it. For buyers, the appeal is straightforward: the 2024 GMC Yukon XL offers serious room, multiple powertrain choices, and a long list of comfort and convenience features in a package that still feels truck-based and capable.

It is especially attractive to shoppers who need spacious second- and third-row seating and extensive cargo capacity. The main tradeoffs are the same ones that come with most large body-on-frame SUVs: poor fuel economy and handling that is not as nimble as car-based crossovers. 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

The 2024 GMC Yukon XL stands out as a full-size SUV built around space, capability, and a more refined ride than older versions.

For long-term ownership, you should expect the usual wear-and-tear considerations that come with a large, heavy SUV used for family hauling and daily driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Yukon XL?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on suspension, brakes, tires, and interior wear, since this is a large SUV that may have seen frequent family or road-trip use. Pay close attention to how the cabin features, infotainment, and seating functions operate, and make sure the vehicle’s condition matches its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Yukon XL?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,546 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,609, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $61,609 sits slightly below last year's $71,459.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of overpaying. If you plan to resell later, the current softer pricing may also mean your future depreciation is more manageable than it would have been at last year's higher average. For a used buyer, that makes the Yukon XL easier to justify if you value space and capability over short-term price stability.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.78% compared with last year.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the newer model-year pricing reset and a strong mix of inventory quality and deal availability. If you are especially price-sensitive, the nearby model years may be worth a look, but the 2024 is the better starting point if you want a balance of value, condition, and selection.
