How much does the 2024 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 14.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,483 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

The 2024 GMC Yukon XL is a strong fit if you want a full-size SUV built around space, capability, and a more refined ride than older versions. It offers extra passenger room in the third row and more cargo space behind it, and its independent rear suspension helps improve ride and handling while making the cabin more comfortable for passengers.

It is especially appealing if you need spacious second- and third-row seating and extensive cargo capacity, and it also brings a broad feature set with multiple powertrain choices and comfort-focused equipment. The market shows 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

The 2024 GMC Yukon XL is presented as a large SUV with a refined ride, broad feature content, and a truck-based layout that emphasizes capability and comfort. Its appeal centers on space, multiple powertrain choices, and a more comfortable third row than older versions.

For long-term ownership, you should expect the usual used-buying tradeoffs that come with a large body-on-frame SUV, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Yukon XL?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Focus especially on the condition of the suspension, interior wear from family use, and any evidence that the vehicle was used heavily for towing or long-distance travel.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Yukon XL?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,483 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,953, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $61,953 sits slightly below last year's $72,075.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you keep the SUV clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you should be in a stronger position when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.04% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 GMC Yukon XL makes the most sense if you want a spacious, capable full-size SUV and you value the combination of room, comfort, and available features. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better primary target if you want a strong balance of inventory, condition, and softened pricing.
