How much does the 2024 GMC Yukon cost?

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Yukon earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a roomy, well-appointed full-size SUV with premium amenities, plush materials, and modern technology, and it specifically suits you if you want a large family hauler with an understated look rather than flashy styling. Its appeal centers on space, comfort, and a broad feature set, including a 10.25-inch infotainment system, tri-zone climate control, and available trailering capability. The market also shows 36.4% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview says this generation has not been especially strong for reliability so far, so you should approach a used purchase with careful inspection and a complete service history. For long-term ownership, that means you should pay close attention to maintenance records and any signs of deferred upkeep before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck has a clean title and consistent maintenance records. Put the inspection priority on condition items that matter most in a large SUV: interior wear, electronics, suspension behavior, and evidence of heavy use. Because this model is loaded with technology and built for family duty, you want to make sure everything works as intended and that the vehicle has been cared for properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,801 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,636, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $61,636 sits slightly below last year's $71,285.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the Yukon’s size, premium feel, and family-friendly layout remain core selling points.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, strong owner satisfaction, and a healthy supply of clean examples, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2024’s combination of market softness and strong inventory quality.
