Is the 2024 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Yukon earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a full-size SUV that emphasizes space, premium amenities, and a restrained luxury look rather than flashy styling. You get a roomy, well-appointed cabin with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a push-button gear selector, nine camera views, tri-zone climate control, and an eight-inch digital gauge cluster, so it fits well if you want a large SUV that feels upscale and practical. 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Yukon’s appeal is rooted in refinement rather than reinvention, and the model year brought only a minor update to the OnStar connected safety service. Its broad range of powertrain choices and standard 10-speed automatic transmission also suggest a well-developed package. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a large, feature-rich SUV can be expensive to keep in top shape if wear items or repairs come up.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm there are no hidden incidents, title issues, or repeated claims. Prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large SUV where suspension, brakes, electronics, and drivetrain condition matter more over time. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the comfort and capability this model is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,509 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $62,653, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $62,653 sits slightly below last year's $73,002.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For future resale, a lower purchase price can reduce your depreciation exposure if you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well. The Yukon’s broad appeal as a spacious, premium full-size SUV should help support demand, especially for clean, well-equipped examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want a spacious, premium-feeling Yukon and you value a lower current market price than last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced example rather than chasing a specific model year alone.
