Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearTrenton, NJ

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 8.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,479 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover SUV that aims for a bigger-SUV feel, and its larger dimensions help it stand out from more ordinary midsize crossovers. Inside, its well-executed cabin and easy-to-use technology are among its strongest points, and it also offers plenty of cargo space.

The trade-offs are that its design may be polarizing and its driving experience is fairly pedestrian, so you should expect more emphasis on utility than excitement. The model’s 32.4% share of good and great deals suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Acadia’s redesign brings a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a revamped interior, and the expert review describes the powertrain as pulling strongly and consistently. That points to a vehicle that should feel composed in everyday use, especially if you value a modern cabin and straightforward operation.

The cost-effectiveness notes also point to a five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty on new vehicles, which is a useful ownership backdrop when you’re evaluating a used example. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright capability and more about whether the vehicle’s condition and maintenance history match its newer, more complex equipment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a redesigned model with new tech and a new powertrain. Focus on overall condition, how the infotainment and driver-assistance features operate, and whether the vehicle shows signs of hard use or incomplete maintenance.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Elevation is the base trim and replaces the previous SLE and SLT trims, while AT4 and Denali add more distinctive styling and equipment. The base trim comes with 18-inch wheels, while the Denali moves to standard 20-inch wheels and optional 22s, and the AT4 gets model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.
• Powertrain: Every Acadia uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. It pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the AT4 adds standard all-wheel drive with a more sophisticated twin-clutch system tuned for off-road driving.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, and traffic-sign recognition. The base setup is strong, and Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 11-inch digital instrument cluster and 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard, and Google built-in apps are part of the system.
• Fuel efficiency: GMC estimates 23 mpg combined, 20 mpg city, and 27 mpg highway with front-wheel drive, or 21 mpg combined, 19 mpg city, and 24 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the best-value starting point if you want the redesigned Acadia’s core strengths without paying for the more expensive trims. You still get the new turbocharged engine, the standard 15-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features.
• AT4: This is the trim to choose if you want the most rugged character. It adds standard all-wheel drive, a twin-clutch system tuned for off-road driving, a 1.2-inch ride-height lift, skid plates, and Terrain mode, making it the clear pick for buyers who want the Acadia’s light off-road capability.
• Denali: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with unique styling, standard 20-inch wheels, and available 22-inch wheels. It adds upscale touches, but the review notes that the materials still do not fully match the trim’s luxe billing.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, and Super Cruise is available on all trim levels.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,479 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,546, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $40,653 sits slightly below last year's $44,269.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If prices continue to soften, future sellers may need to be more competitive to move the vehicle quickly.

On the other hand, the Acadia’s strong interior space, useful technology, and broad appeal as a family SUV can help support demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is a newly redesigned model, so crash-test ratings from IIHS and NHTSA were not available at the time of publication.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, and traffic-sign recognition. It also includes a rear-seat reminder and vibrating safety alert seat, and an optional rearview camera mirror and surround-view camera system can provide up to nine camera views.

Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, but it still requires you to keep your eyes on the road and to take over at intersections. That means it’s a useful hands-free system for some driving situations, but not a substitute for full-time attention.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model brings a redesigned body, a revamped interior, and a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Acadia with its bigger-SUV feel, modern cabin, and strong tech, the 2024 is the right target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market closely and compare listings against the year-round low before you commit.
