Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearSouthington, CT

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 9.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,496 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The Acadia’s redesigned three-row layout gives you a bigger-feeling cabin than its midsize footprint suggests, and the interior and tech are the main reasons it stands out. It offers plenty of cargo space, a revamped cabin, and easy-to-use technology, which makes it a practical fit if you want a family SUV with room to spare.

The trade-offs are clear: the design may not be for everyone, and the driving experience is described as fairly pedestrian even with the new turbocharged engine. The 34.6% share of good or great deals suggests you can still find competitive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Acadia is a redesigned model, so it brings a fresh platform, a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and updated interior packaging. Its powertrain is described as strong and consistent, and the cabin layout was reworked to improve spaciousness and usability.

It also comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty on new vehicles. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is that a first-year redesign can bring more uncertainty than a carryover model, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the drivetrain, electronics, and any signs of uneven wear or prior bodywork. Pay close attention to how the cabin features, screens, and driver-assistance systems operate, since those are major parts of the Acadia’s appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes base Elevation, off-road AT4, and luxe Denali trim levels. The Elevation comes standard with 18-inch wheels, while 20-inch wheels are optional. The Denali moves up to standard 20-inch wheels and optional 22s, and the AT4 gets model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The AT4 adds red tow hooks, black wheel-arch trim with marker lights, and blacked-out trim, while the Denali gets a more ornate grille and upscale styling touches.
• Powertrain: Every Acadia uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It replaces the prior four-cylinder and V6 options, and it pulls strongly while also supporting a 5,000-pound towing capacity with the available towing package.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. A rearview camera mirror and surround-view camera system are available, and Super Cruise is offered on all trim levels.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 15-inch touchscreen, an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row. Google built-in apps are included, and an available 8-inch head-up display and 16-speaker Bose system are also offered.
• Fuel efficiency: GMC estimates 23 mpg combined with FWD and 21 mpg combined with AWD.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the entry point, and it makes the most sense if you want the Acadia’s core strengths — the roomy cabin, strong tech, and standard safety equipment — without paying for the more specialized trims. It’s the best-value choice for most shoppers because it gives you the redesigned interior and standard tech at the lowest price.
• AT4: Choose this if you want the most rugged-looking Acadia and the most off-road-oriented hardware. It adds standard all-wheel drive, a twin-clutch system, a 1.2-inch ride-height lift, skid plates, and Terrain mode, plus unique exterior details. It suits you best if you want the Acadia’s family utility with a more adventurous personality.
• Denali: Pick this if you want the most upscale version and are willing to pay for it. It adds the premium styling treatment, larger wheel options, and a more luxurious cabin presentation, though the materials may not feel as premium as the badge suggests.

Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, so you do not need to move up to a specific trim just to get that feature.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,496 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,554, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $40,849 sits slightly below last year's $45,101.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward from earlier pricing, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to resell later, the current softness may limit near-term appreciation, but it can also make your purchase less exposed to immediate overpayment.

The Acadia’s strong owner satisfaction rating can help support demand when it is time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. A rearview camera mirror and surround-view camera system are available, and Super Cruise is offered on all trim levels.

Because this is a newly redesigned model, crash-test ratings from IIHS and NHTSA were not available at the time of publication. That means you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and the availability of advanced driver assistance when evaluating a used example.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model is redesigned, with a bigger cabin, a new turbocharged engine, and a revamped interior and tech setup.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Acadia with the most up-to-date interior, technology, and packaging, the 2024 is the right target. If your priority is lower purchase price, a nearby older model year may make more sense, especially if you can live without the redesign and newer cabin tech.
