You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before you buy. Focus on overall maintenance history and signs of hard use rather than just the odometer reading.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. Buying at the right price now matters because it gives you a better starting point for future value retention.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Transit Passenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.07% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better path if you want the current-year market with meaningful price relief and a decent pool of clean listings to choose from. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years as well, but the current pricing trend makes this one worth a close look.
