You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before you buy. Buying at the right price now matters because it gives you a better starting point for future value retention.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Transit Passenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.07% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better path if you want the current-year market with meaningful price relief and a decent pool of clean listings to choose from. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years as well, but the current pricing trend makes this one worth a close look.
