How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,011 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Bronco earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, modern features, stylish interior and design, and overall driving experience. The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and a noisy, less refined daily-driving experience, along with limited storage practicality for some owners.

That mix fits you best if you want a distinctive SUV that feels fun and capable rather than quiet and conventional. It also helps that the current market shows 32.2% of listings as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centered on the Bronco’s capability and modern features. The expert evaluation also describes the Bronco as a vehicle that brings joy to the daily drive and is built for true off-road use.

Ford’s standard maintenance coverage can help early ownership costs feel more manageable when you’re shopping used. For long-term buyers, the main risk is that rugged hardware and fuel use can make ownership more demanding than a typical SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has seen trail use or has been modified. Focus on tire wear, suspension condition, interior wear, and signs of hard off-road use, since those can matter more here than on a typical crossover.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the Sasquatch Package adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading equipment that changes both appearance and capability.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 is exclusive to the Raptor and makes 418 hp and 440 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines. The available Ford Co-Pilot360 collection adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: A 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen is standard, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and a seven-speaker stereo system. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 10 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says a Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter powertrain should return 18 mpg city, 17 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Badlands, Raptor, and the other Bronco variants referenced in the model’s trim lineup.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the standard trim and the best starting point if you want the Bronco experience with the newest standard tech, including the 12-inch Sync 4 system and wireless smartphone integration.
• Badlands: Choose this if you want a more trail-focused setup and are interested in the rugged hardware and capability upgrades associated with the Bronco’s off-road side.
• Raptor: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the most powerful engine and the most aggressive hardware in the lineup.

The available safety package is strongest when you move beyond the most basic setup, so check whether the Bronco you’re considering includes Ford Co-Pilot360 features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,011 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,366, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $44,366 sits slightly below last year's $49,658.

That softer pricing suggests the Bronco has moved into a more buyer-friendly phase, which can help future resale if you buy at the right number. If you pay close to the current average, your upside depends more on condition, mileage, and trim desirability than on broad market appreciation.

Strong demand for well-kept examples should still support values over time, especially for trims with desirable equipment. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?

The Bronco four-door earns a Marginal headlight score from IIHS and a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA, along with a three-star rollover rating.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford equips the Bronco Big Bend with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines. The available Ford Co-Pilot360 package adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.

That gives you a solid core of driver assistance features, but the crash-test picture is not spotless. The headlight result is the main caveat to keep in mind if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and updates the Bronco’s cabin tech.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $40,854, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $44,366 average.
• It offers broad configuration choice and strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,243, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $44,366 average.
• It adds modern off-road personality with broader everyday comfort.

The bottom line: If you want the newest standard tech and a healthier used-market setup, the 2024 is the smart default. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to pay more for the newer model-year position.
