Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearMesa, AZ

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 5.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,645 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Trailblazer’s appeal comes from its practical small-SUV packaging, with standout passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. It is especially well suited to you if you want an entry-level SUV that feels more polished than basic.

The trade-offs are clear: the base engine is underwhelming, and performance is fairly pedestrian. If you value stronger acceleration, that may matter more than the Trailblazer’s strengths in design and everyday usability.

33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is described as covering the basics well, and its expert evaluation points to a vehicle that delivers on price, efficiency, and capability without feeling overcomplicated. Its performance notes also suggest a straightforward, predictable driving experience rather than one that feels fragile or finicky.

The infotainment and driver-assistance features are described as functioning as they should, with no false alarms or glitches during testing. That kind of consistency is a good sign if you want a used SUV that should be easy to live with.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about whether you can live with the modest powertrain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the powertrain, brakes, and electronics. Because the Trailblazer’s appeal depends heavily on everyday usability, pay close attention to cabin condition, infotainment operation, and how the vehicle drives at low speeds and on the highway.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling and cabin presentation improve as you move up, and the base setup is the one most likely to feel sparse compared with higher trims.
• Powertrain: The base turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder makes 137 horsepower and is paired with a CVT; the available turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder makes 155 hp and is more responsive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors.
• Infotainment: An 11-inch touchscreen is standard on all trim levels, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. A native navigation system is not offered.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. The upgraded turbo engine with AWD is estimated at 26 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Trailblazer lineup, but it is also the trim most likely to leave you wanting more equipment.
• LT: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it gives you a more balanced mix of features without pushing you into the pricier upper trims.
• Activ: This trim is the one to consider if you want the more capable-feeling setup and the more powerful turbocharged 1.3-liter engine.
• RS: Choose this if you want the most style-forward version of the Trailblazer and are willing to pay for the top-end presentation.

The standard safety equipment is strong across the lineup, and the optional Driver Confidence package adds useful features if you want more peace of mind.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Inventory: There are 5,645 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,399, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $22,399 sits slightly below last year's $23,797.

That softer pricing suggests the Trailblazer is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim choice rather than market momentum alone.

Because the model still has solid demand and practical appeal, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. The strongest resale prospects will likely come from vehicles with desirable equipment and clean history records.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer was awarded five-out-of-five stars in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations, as well as four stars for rollover protection, and the IIHS gave it its highest score of "good" in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors. Adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option.

One caveat is that you do tend to get more standard safety features and driver assists with some rivals. The low instrument panel also makes a head-up display feel like it would be a useful addition.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 Trailblazer stands out for its stylish design, spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $20,769, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,399 average.
• It is a value-focused small SUV with stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping target, the 2024 is the stronger pick because it combines softer pricing, solid inventory, and a more polished overall package. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 remains the better budget alternative.
