What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully and confirm that the specific vehicle matches its advertised condition. Focus on overall wear, service history, and how well the cabin and cargo area have been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,727 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,288, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox's resale value?

The current average of $22,682 sits slightly below last year's $23,788.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means condition, mileage, and documentation will matter even more when it comes time to list the vehicle. A clean history and strong presentation should help you stand out in a market where buyers have plenty of choices.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,255, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,682 average.
• It offers practical value with easy-to-live-with everyday manners.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $26,243, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,682 average.
• It brings a fresher redesign with more standard tech and safety features.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped, practical Equinox with strong market availability and a softer price trend. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the newest redesign and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the upgrade path to consider.
