Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearNew Orleans, LA

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,064 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.8/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Colorado is positioned as a modern lifestyle pickup, with a bold redesign, easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling. Those strengths make it appealing if you want a truck that feels equally at home on pavement and away from it.

The main trade-offs are that the cabin materials are described as drab and there is only one cab/bed style. It also asks for a premium, so value matters less here than capability and features.

37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado is presented as a well-equipped truck that focuses on modern features and capability rather than stripped-down utility. Its turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain is described as delivering solid low-end power, and the eight-speed automatic does a good job of managing power at any speed.

The Colorado also emphasizes durability-minded hardware in its off-road-oriented versions, including sophisticated suspension tuning and protective equipment on higher trims. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a truck built around premium features and off-road capability can be more expensive to keep in top condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used off pavement or equipped with higher-end off-road hardware. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, suspension wear, and signs of heavy use, since this model is often bought for recreation as much as commuting.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model, but it still includes a fully digital instrument panel, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, an 11.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. It keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats, while the LT adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, a rear USB port, and a full front center console.
• Powertrain: The Colorado comes exclusively with turbocharged four-cylinder power. The base version makes 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the Turbo Max version makes 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: The Colorado comes standard with automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and the Teen Driver system. The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: The standard infotainment system is an 11.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also includes an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel, two front USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and satellite radio.
• Fuel efficiency: The most efficient version returns 20 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The four-wheel drive version returns 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, but it is not stripped bare. You still get the digital instrument panel, the 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard safety tech, so it makes sense if you want the Colorado experience without chasing extras.
• LT: This is the best-value trim. It adds useful everyday upgrades like alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, and a rear USB port, and it becomes even more appealing with the LT Convenience Package.
• Trail Boss: Choose this if you want a more off-road-focused setup without jumping all the way to the top of the range. It adds a lifted off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential.
• Z71: This trim keeps many of the Trail Boss chassis enhancements while adding its own comfort and appearance touches, including unique cloth-and-synthetic-leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and red front recovery hooks.
• ZR2: This is the most trail-ready version, with additional off-road upgrades, remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed-liner.

The LT Convenience Package III is the key safety-package upgrade to watch for, since it adds blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
