Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Technology.

It stands out as a new EV built on GM’s Ultium component set, with distinctive styling and impressive technology. The available Super Cruise system adds to its appeal if you want a more advanced driving experience.

The trade-offs are real: the expert notes point to poor ride quality, no Apple CarPlay, and a higher launch price. If you value style and tech more than comfort and smartphone integration, it fits that use case well.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Blazer EV is presented as a new vehicle on GM’s Ultium EV platform, which gives it a distinct identity rather than making it a simple electric version of the gasoline Blazer. Its expert coverage also points to a well-developed EV setup with built-in route planning and battery pre-conditioning, both of which support everyday usability.

Chevy includes an eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty, which is helpful for used-EV peace of mind. For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is making sure the battery and charging behavior still align with your driving needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on an EV where charging habits and software behavior matter. Focus on overall condition, battery health, and whether the vehicle’s features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT and RS differ in styling, with the LT getting a color-coordinated front fascia and 19-inch wheels, while the RS adds blacked-out exterior accents and 21-inch wheels. The RS and SS also bring a more distinctive interior, and the base LT is the simpler starting point.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive setups. The RWD version makes 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the AWD version makes 288 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque; the AWD setup is the lower-output option here.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, and automatic high beams. Super Cruise is available, along with reverse automatic braking and park assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 17.7-inch touchscreen and an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, plus built-in Google apps, route planning, and over-the-air software updates. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not included.
• Range & charging: The smaller 85-kWh battery pack is rated at 279 miles of range and can DC fast charge at up to 150 kW. The larger 102-kWh pack is estimated at up to 324 miles of range and can charge at up to 190 kW.
• Battery health: Check the battery state-of-health, ask how the vehicle has typically been charged, and confirm whether it has spent most of its life on home charging or frequent DC fast charging. You should also verify how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV is offered in 2 trim levels: LT and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Blazer EV experience with the simpler exterior treatment and standard 19-inch wheels. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost path into the model and can live without the RS’s more aggressive styling.
• RS: This is the better-value choice if you want the Blazer EV’s more distinctive look and a more upscale-feeling cabin. It adds blacked-out exterior accents, 21-inch wheels, and a more expressive interior, making it the trim that best matches the vehicle’s style-first personality.

Super Cruise is available, and the safety content also notes optional reverse automatic braking and park assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping carefully.

• Deal availability: 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,344 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.97% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,570, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV's resale value?

The current average of $26,570 sits slightly below last year's $30,886.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper future resale gains. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

For a future seller, the key is to buy below market and keep the vehicle in strong condition. A well-kept example with desirable equipment should be easier to move than one with visible wear or missing features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV safe?

The Blazer EV gets standard automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, and automatic high beams.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Super Cruise is available, and it can maintain speed and following distance while keeping the vehicle centered in its lane, using detailed maps and a driver-monitoring system. Optional reverse automatic braking and park assist add more convenience and protection.

Crash-test ratings from IIHS and NHTSA were not available at the time of publication, so you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and available driver-assist tech when evaluating a used example.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings distinctive styling and impressive technology, including available Super Cruise.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $31,936, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $26,570 average.
• It adds a sportier look and more flexible powertrain choices.

The 2024 is the better pick if you want the lower price and a strong mix of style and tech. If you’re willing to spend more for the newer model’s broader appeal, the 2025 is the secondary path.
