How much does the 2024 Cadillac Escalade cost?

Prices have softened 10.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,182 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac Escalade earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

It stands out as a full-size luxury SUV that leans hard into technology, space, and presence. You get rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, plus a cabin built around a 38-inch curved OLED display, upscale comfort features, and a long list of standard driver-assistance equipment. If you want a large luxury SUV that feels distinctive rather than generic, this model year fits that use case well.

37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Escalade’s appeal centers on its upscale comfort, extensive standard equipment, and easy-to-drive character for such a large vehicle. It also offers a diesel option for buyers who want something more distinctive, though the model still carries the expected drawbacks of poor fuel economy and poor ride quality.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about whether you can live with its size, efficiency, and ride tradeoffs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac Escalade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and check for any prior damage or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, electronics, and cabin features, since this model’s value is tied heavily to its technology and luxury equipment. Focus on overall condition, because a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac Escalade?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,182 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $77,138, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $77,138 sits slightly below last year's $85,938.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also temper near-term resale upside. If you plan to sell later, the key will be how well your example holds up against similar listings in condition, equipment, and history. A clean, well-maintained Escalade should still appeal to shoppers who want a large luxury SUV with strong presence.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $65,857, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $77,138 average.
• It emphasizes utility, technology, and presence with a distinctive, spacious cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $101,091, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $77,138 average.
• It adds a refresh with styling changes and a redesigned dashboard display.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest balance of price movement, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less, the 2023 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest update and can pay more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.

How does the 2024 Cadillac Escalade compare to the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe?
