Used 2024 Cadillac CT5 for Sale nearTampa, FL

How much does the 2024 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 13.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,084 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac CT5 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The CT5 is a midsize luxury sedan that blends style, driving enjoyment, and multiple powertrain choices. It also stands out as a decent value in a competitive segment, especially if you want a distinctive luxury sedan with a more engaging character than many rivals.

The main trade-offs are limited cargo space and a mediocre interior design, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, the CT5’s fun-to-drive personality and broad powertrain lineup make it appealing if you value character and road feel over maximum practicality.

Good and great deals account for 35.5% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CT5 is described as a carryover model for 2024, which can be a plus if you prefer a familiar formula over a first-year redesign. Its powertrain lineup is broad, and the available twin-turbo V6 and V8 options suggest Cadillac engineered this sedan for both everyday use and stronger performance.

Cadillac also backs the CT5 with a four-year, 50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a six-year, 70,000-mile powertrain warranty. That coverage helps reduce early ownership risk, though a used buyer should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition because luxury-car repairs can become expensive once warranty coverage ends.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any CT5 you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the electronics, interior condition, and any signs of hard use. Because this model emphasizes style and driving enjoyment, condition matters a lot when you’re comparing similar-priced examples.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base CT5 Luxury gives you the core sedan, while Premium Luxury and Sport add more equipment and a more upscale or athletic presentation. The Sport trim also adds styling touches like a rear spoiler and alloy pedals, and the cabin quality remains a key area to inspect closely because the interior is described as mediocre.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, or a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Both use a 10-speed automatic, and you can get rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assist features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, buckle-to-drive, and a vibrating Safety Alert Seat. Premium Luxury and Sport models can also be equipped with Super Cruise, and several advanced features remain optional rather than standard.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Premium Luxury and Sport can add a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display through the Technology Package, and wireless phone charging is standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four is rated at 27 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 25 mpg combined with all-wheel drive. The twin-turbo V6 is rated at 22 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 21 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2024 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 5 trim levels: CT5 Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, CT5-V Blackwing.

Here's the short version:

• CT5 Luxury: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the CT5’s style and driving character at the lowest starting price. It gives you the core sedan experience, but you’ll want to compare it carefully against the higher trims if you care about more upscale features or a richer tech and comfort setup.
• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more of the CT5’s desirable equipment without jumping into the performance models. It also unlocks the Technology Package and Super Cruise availability, making it the trim to target if you want the most well-rounded mix of comfort, tech, and capability.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the same general equipment level as Premium Luxury but prefer a more aggressive look. The added spoiler and alloy pedals give it a more athletic feel, and it also can be equipped with the Technology Package and Super Cruise.
• CT5-V: This is the step for buyers who want more performance from the twin-turbo V6 and a stronger enthusiast focus. It sits above the standard trims and is the right pick if you want more power without going all the way to the top-performance model.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the high-performance choice, with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and rear-wheel drive only. It’s the trim for you if outright performance is the priority and you want the most extreme version of the CT5.

Premium Luxury and Sport can also be equipped with Super Cruise, which is one of the CT5’s standout safety and convenience features.

What is the 2024 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $38,413 sits slightly below last year's $44,395.

That price movement suggests the CT5 has become more approachable for used buyers, which can help support demand if you decide to sell later. A lower entry price today may also make it easier for your car to stay competitive against similarly equipped luxury sedans.

Because the CT5 is still a desirable midsize luxury sedan with strong driving appeal, well-kept examples should remain attractive to shoppers who want style and performance together. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged and remains a multitalented luxury sedan with a decent value proposition.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,548, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,413 average.
• It emphasizes sharp handling and distinctive styling.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $43,907, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,413 average.
• It adds a new 33-inch display and more tech-focused updates.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and the CT5’s core strengths, the 2024 is the easy starting point. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the value play; if you want newer tech and can spend more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
