Why it stands out
The 2024 Buick Envista sets itself apart by combining stylish design with a comfortable driving experience. Its sloping roofline and distinctive front-end styling help it stand out in a crowded market, aiming for a more premium feel than some of its competitors. Equipped with a single engine option—a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder producing 137 horsepower—paired with a refined six-speed automatic transmission, the Envista provides a smooth ride and decent performance, catering well to urban driving as well as highway merges.
The interior builds upon Buick's reputation for comfort, offering an upscale atmosphere with standard features like an 11-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. Although cargo space may be limited compared to others in the segment, with smart tech features included, the Envista presents a value that many buyers in this price range will appreciate. Ergonomic challenges do exist, particularly with controls positioned for the driver, yet the overall experience is improved over its predecessors. While it lacks an all-wheel-drive option, the car’s competitive price and engaging design make it compelling for those seeking practicality blended with style.

I had been looking at Cadillac but decided to look at the Buick Envista! Chose the Envista because it drove nicer at a much more reasonable price!

The features and the value is nice. It would be nicer if there were vents in the back of the car and dual air control mode. It saddens me that my 5 yo is suffering longer than I am to cool off. It breaks my heart. I absolutely hate the backup camera. When you backup at night, the camera isn’t clear AT ALL! It’s terrible. I have never seen anything like it and I’ve compared it to other vehicles. You’d think since this is a brand new vehicle the backup camera would be crystal clear when compared to older vehicles. When I back up I can’t use the camera. I have to back up the “old fashioned” way. GMC really needs to fix this issue like yesterday. I’m not sure if it’s just my Envista or all Envistas but it’s definitely a problem. It only happens at night but that would’ve prevented me from purchasing one if I had seen that. Other models I liked was the Sport model. That model was fabulous! Just a little bit above my spending range. It had more of the features that I do like but I’m just not sure about the backup camera because it was daylight. I do like my car. She’s still looks sporty without being the sports model and she’s pretty. Definitely next generation for Buick! I receive a lot of compliments and a lot of people often stare at me while I’m driving. If I can get my backup camera fixed I will be a satisfied and happy customer with my vehicle.
