What’s New for the 2026 Buick Envista
The Buick Envista was introduced for the 2024 model year and has seen few changes since then. That tracks for 2026, with one shade of red exterior paint swapped out for another. Buick has also cut the first aid kit, cargo organizer, and premium floor mats from the standard features list.
Design
The Envista is a subcompact crossover with a somewhat misleading sporty profile. The tapered nose and raked roofline look great from the side, but hint at a better-performing vehicle than the Envista actually is. Furthermore, the roofline cuts into the second-row passengers’ headroom. The Envista comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, and it’s available with 18- and 19-inch wheel designs. The top Avenir trim swaps black exterior trim for body-color trim and side mirrors.
Powertrain
Every Envista is equipped with a modest turbocharged three-cylinder engine that makes 137 horsepower and 162 pounds-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard, and unlike some options in the class, all-wheel drive (AWD) is not available. A six-speed automatic transmission also comes standard. Driving dynamics are reasonably athletic, though the Envista isn’t particularly powerful. The Envista’s fuel economy ratings are about average for the segment, with ratings of 28 mpg in the city, 32 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined.

Interior
The Envista seats five passengers across its two rows. The front seats are comfortable, and the second row has adequate leg room but, again, scant head room. Standard features include manually adjustable front seats with cloth and synthetic leather upholstery. Options include a moonroof, synthetic leather upholstery, black upholstery with tan stitching, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a hands-free power liftgate. The Envista’s cargo space is just about average, measuring 20.7 cubic feet behind the second row and a maximum of 42 cubic feet with the second row folded down.
Technology
Tech features are simple, with most coming standard across the Envista lineup. The Buick Envista features an 8-inch digital instrument display, an 11-inch touch screen infotainment display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a six-speaker audio system. There are few options or upgrades on the menu, but wireless device charging is available.
