Is the 2024 BMW i4 reliable?

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm there are no hidden issues in the car’s past. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price is near the low end of the market. Focus your evaluation on battery-related condition, charging behavior, and overall wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW i4?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $37,454, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW i4's resale value?

The current average of $37,454 sits slightly below last year's $42,036.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, the key question is whether demand stays steady enough to support values after ownership costs and depreciation. A well-kept example with strong documentation should be easier to move than one with unclear history or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW i4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,513, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,454 average.
• It adds subtle design updates and a new infotainment system.

The 2024 is the better value if you want a lower entry price and strong market support. If you’re price-sensitive, the current year is the more compelling path; if you want the newer updates and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the alternative to compare.
