How much does the 2024 BMW X6 cost?

Is the 2024 BMW X6 a good car?

The 2024 BMW X6 stands out because it still leans into the model’s original coupe-like SUV formula, with a lowered stance, a sleeker roofline, and a more aggressive look than the second generation. For 2024, it also received updated lighting with sequential turn signals, new fascias and bumpers, new wheels, and more power for the xDrive40i, which was rated at 375 hp. BMW also added an optional Highway Assistant for hands-free driving, giving the X6 a more modern edge without abandoning its sporty identity.

Inside and under the skin, the X6 remains a well-equipped performance-oriented luxury SUV. Standard equipment includes a panoramic moonroof, two 12.3-inch displays running iDrive 7, navigation, adaptive LED headlights, blind-spot monitors, forward emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and heated front seats. Cargo space is not a strong point, though, and the X6’s appeal is more about style, power, and equipment than maximum practicality.

With 38.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is best managed by prioritizing maintenance records and a careful pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance-oriented luxury SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW X6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Put the inspection focus on condition, maintenance consistency, and signs of prior bodywork or cosmetic repair. Because this model is style- and equipment-driven, make sure the vehicle’s overall condition matches its asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW X6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 498 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,878, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW X6's resale value?

The current average of $61,881 sits slightly below last year's $69,767.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of immediate overpaying. If you plan to sell later, the current softness means your resale outcome will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong equipment can help protect value, but this model’s pricing still reflects a market that has cooled.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.30% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want the updated look, stronger xDrive40i output, and the latest feature set without moving up to a newer model year. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year may offer a lower entry price, but the 2024 gives you a strong mix of style, equipment, and current-market value.
