How much does the 2024 BMW X3 cost?

Prices have softened 5.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,000 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 BMW X3 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 BMW X3. It stands out as a compact yet luxurious SUV that blends premium features with agility and driving engagement, so you get an upscale feel without giving up everyday usefulness. The cabin tech, standard comfort equipment, and practical cargo space make it appealing if you want a well-rounded luxury SUV for daily driving. With 39.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW X3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 BMW X3 is presented as a premium vehicle with a strong safety and convenience package, and its standard equipment supports confident everyday use. It also combines luxury features with practical utility, which can make ownership feel rewarding if you value a balanced SUV.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that premium vehicles can bring higher maintenance and repair costs than non-luxury rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW X3?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s service records before you buy. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the brakes, tires, electronics, and any signs of uneven wear or prior bodywork. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency, since premium vehicles can be more expensive to refresh if they were neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW X3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,000 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,581, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW X3's resale value?

The current average of $37,789 sits slightly below last year's $39,806.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well you maintain the vehicle. If you keep mileage reasonable, preserve service records, and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell. The current market also suggests buyers are still willing to pay for a well-kept example, especially one with strong equipment and clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $45,326, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,789 average.
• It brings a redesigned cabin with a more minimalist, tech-forward feel.

The bottom line:
If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the smarter primary path because it combines a lower average price with strong deal availability and clean inventory. If you are willing to pay more for the redesigned next year and its updated character, the 2025 is the secondary path for buyers who prioritize the newest version over price.
