Used 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron for Sale near California

How much does the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron cost?

Prices have softened 7.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 415 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a deliberately understated electric luxury SUV, so you’re getting a subtle design rather than a flashy one. The cabin quality is a clear strength, and the SUV also delivers strong acceleration, which makes it appealing if you want an EV that feels polished instead of attention-seeking.

The main trade-offs are that the brake pedal has very short travel and the exterior may be too subtle if you want your electric SUV to stand out more. The Q8 e-tron’s market mix also shows 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there’s room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q8 e-tron’s appeal is reinforced by its strong cabin quality, balanced driving character, and the fact that its range is a major improvement over the outgoing Audi e-tron. It also benefits from a well-rounded electric setup that pairs strong acceleration with composed road manners.

On the ownership side, the battery and charging system are the key used-EV items to evaluate closely, especially how the vehicle has been charged over time and whether it has been used heavily on DC fast charging. For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is less about the basic concept and more about making sure the battery and charging history are healthy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on an EV where battery condition and charging behavior matter. Focus on overall condition, charging equipment, and whether the vehicle has been maintained and used in a way that fits your driving needs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q8 e-tron’s trim structure starts with Premium, then adds equipment as you move up to Premium Plus and Prestige. The base trim already includes a strong safety and convenience foundation, while higher trims add more luxury and driver-assistance content.
• Powertrain: It uses a 402-horsepower, dual-motor setup with standard AWD. Acceleration is strong, with a 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds, and the power delivery is described as well matched to the SUV’s balanced steering and suspension tuning.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with lane guidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium Plus adds LED matrix-design headlights, traffic sign recognition, and a surround-view parking camera.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch main infotainment screen, a separate climate touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and over-the-air capability is not mentioned.
• Range & charging: Range runs from 285 to 300 miles depending on body style and trim. The battery pack is 106.0 kWh, and DC fast charging can take up to 170 kW. A 240-volt home outlet with the standard charger takes 13 hours, while the available higher-output charger cuts that to around 6 hours.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, ask how often the vehicle has been charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and confirm how much of the battery warranty remains. For a used EV, those details matter as much as mileage.

Which 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron trim should I buy?

The 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the starting point, and it already gives you the core Q8 e-tron experience with standard AWD, strong safety equipment, and the model’s understated luxury feel. It makes sense if you want the lowest entry price and are comfortable skipping some convenience upgrades.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim. It adds heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, matrix-design LED headlights, a surround-view parking camera, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, and power-adjustable lumbar support for the front passenger seat.
• Prestige: Choose this if you want the most fully equipped version and are willing to pay for it. It builds on the already strong Premium Plus setup with the top-end presentation and the extra touches that come with the range-topping trim.

The safety package starts strong on Premium, and Premium Plus adds useful upgrades without forcing you all the way to the top trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 415 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,160, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron's resale value?

The current average of $39,612 sits slightly below last year's $42,852.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can make the Q8 e-tron easier to purchase now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, the same trend means you should expect pricing pressure unless the vehicle is especially well equipped, lightly used, and in excellent condition.

Because the model still has strong owner satisfaction, demand should remain reasonably healthy among shoppers looking for a refined electric luxury SUV. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron safe?

The 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron has not yet released crash test ratings.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with lane guidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium Plus adds LED matrix-design headlights, traffic sign recognition, and a surround-view parking camera.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model’s key advantage is its improved driving range, which rises to as much as 300 miles depending on body style and trim.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of range, refinement, and current-market pricing, the 2024 is the one to target. If you’re mainly shopping for the lowest possible price, you can also compare nearby model years, but the 2024’s improved range and softened pricing make it the more compelling choice for most buyers.
